Recreational Coach Requirements
- Attend an on-field GPS workshop
- This will be held in late May at no cost to the coach
- Complete Making Ethical Decisions
- The FDSA will provide codes or dates for online workshops so that this training can be completed at no cost to the coach
- Complete the Canada Soccer coach training relevant to the program in which you are coaching
- The FDSA will provide codes for this training to be completed at no cost to the coach
- Micro – Active Start
- Mini – FUNdamentals
- Youth – Learn to Train
- The FDSA will provide codes for this training to be completed at no cost to the coach
- Complete Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders
- This training is available through Respect Group at the expense of the coach
Criminal Record Check
All coaches (recreational and competitive) are required to have an up to date Criminal Record Check.
