The FDSA will be offering the following referee development clinics in 2018:
Small Sided Games Referee Clinic
This introductory course is intended for those who are 12 or 13 years old and just beginning their refereeing career. It focuses on the practical aspects of refereeing for primarily mini (7 vs 7) recreational games.

COST: $65 ** (payable to NBSRA – New Brunswick Soccer Referees Association)
Entry Level Referee Clinic
This introductory course is intended for those 14 years of age and over who are just beginning their refereeing career. It focuses on the practical aspects of refereeing for primarily youth (12U – 18U) recreational games.
DATES: Feb 24th 9am-4pm @ FDSA Office & Feb 25th 9am-Noon @ Gym to be announced; 12-4pm @ FDSA Office
COST: $65 ** All monies payable to NBSRA (New Brunswick Soccer Referees Association).
Notes: All 3 sessions are mandatory for completion of this course.
You must be 14 or older at the commencement of the 2018 season.
Refresher Clinic
This clinic is designed to get active referees prepared for the upcoming season and will provide a refresher of the Laws of the Game, Match Control techniques as well as an introduction to any proposed changes for 2018. Attendance at the refresher clinic is MANDATORY if you wish to officiate in the upcoming season.

Note 1: For the Small Sided Games and Entry Level Clinics, please bring appropriate clothing for running as there will be practical exercises as well as theory. Also, please bring a pencil and paper for taking notes. All other course materials (whistles, handouts, etc.) will be provided.
Note 2: Referees are responsible to supply their own shirt and cards for games.
