2025 FDSA Summer Jobs

Every summer FDSA offers multiple different full-time job opportunities, such as program coordinators, coaches, & administrative positions. The below form allows potential candidates to state their interest in the various available summer positions. Please note most positions will begin interview rounds in Mid April. With tentative start dates at the beginning of May, and tentative end dates towards the end of August. The summer positions are integral to our clubs summer programming, if you are interested in one our full-time employment opportunities during the summer please fill out the form below!

Program coordinator:

The Program Coordinators play an essential role in the FDSA’s summer programming. Each Coordinator will lead one of the FDSA’s community division programs and be the primary point of contact on the following aspects: Technical – Implementing Club curriculum and delivering technical sessions for one of the FDSA’s community programs; Overseeing technical staff coaches for that respective community program; Monitoring the training being done by each coach, and providing feedback Administrative – Recruiting and assigning volunteer coaches to teams in respective community program; Assisting with program registration; Developing, maintaining, and communicating league schedules; Building relationships with coaches, volunteers, players, and parents in respective community program; Gathering formal and informal feedback to help improve programs Other – Assisting with the development and delivery of key events throughout the summer; Communicating and collaborating with fellow summer staff

Position: Part-Time Executive Assistant Position Overview

FDSA is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the Executive Director in administrative, communication, and operational tasks. This part-time role is ideal for an individual with experience in office management, social media, and stakeholder communications. The Executive Assistant will help streamline operations, enhance communication efforts, and improve overall efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Administration & Operations

  • Assist with general administrative duties, including email and phone management, scheduling, and document organization.
  • Support the management of club expenditures, invoicing, and financial documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and databases related to club operations.
  • Coordinate volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and engagement initiatives. 

    Communications & Marketing
  • Develop and execute internal and external communications, including newsletters, website updates, and email campaigns.
  • Manage FDSA’s social media platforms, ensuring consistent and engaging content.
  • Respond to inquiries from members, sponsors, and community partners.
  • Assist in creating promotional materials for programs, events, and sponsorships.

    Qualifications
    Required
  • Experience in administrative support, communications, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Assets

  • Background in sports administration, marketing, or event coordination.
  • Experience working with community organizations or non-profits.
  • Familiarity with Canva, or other digital marketing tools.

    Working Conditions
  • Part-time position with flexible hours (approximately 15-20 hours per week).
  • Remote work possible, with occasional in-person meetings and events.
  • Some evening and weekend availability may be required.

    Compensation

    Salary will be commensurate with experience and industry standards.
