- In order to further develop the players and programs
of the FDSA, and to attract, develop and retain qualified
coaches, the FDSA provides a rebate to coaches and assistant
coaches. This rebate is an incentive and appreciation
of your time volunteering.
- This rebate applies to any parent who coaches his/her child/children and has taken a coaching certification course (either through the Canadian Soccer Association or a designated training course approved by the Board of Directors). The FDSA will provide ONE rebate to that parent or player worth 50% of the FDSA fee portion of the particular age group which he/she is coaching. (See Note 1).

This rebates applies to a registered player with no children who is coaching and has taken a coaching certification course (either through the Canadian Soccer Association or a designated training course approved by the Board of Directors). The FDSA will provide ONE rebate to that player worth 50% of the FDSA fee portion of the particular age group which he/she is coaching. (See Note 2).
- To qualify for this rebate, you must attend the
Coaches Pre-Season Organizational Meeting AND
the On-Field Practical Coaches Skill Session
or have previously attended an accepted clinic approved
by the FDSA.
- Each team may only have one coach and one assistant
coach eligible for a rebate.

A coach or assistant coach will receive 50% of the FDSA fee:4U & 6U: 50% of $62.00; 8U & 10U: 50% of $84.25; 12U-18U: 50% of $95.25.
- FDSA arranges for the coaching certification courses and pays for the course cost.
- FDSA will provide the rebate as soon as it has an opportunity to confirm a coach’s certification (within one month of the program start date).
Notes:
1. This policy is NOT applicable to coaches of Premiership or Division 1.
2. This policy is NOT applicable to players of Senior Women or Old Boys Club.
