For those born in 2000 or 2001 (8U)
For those born in 1998 or 1999 (10U)
For those graduating from the micro program, this will be your first opportunity to play on properly lined fields with fixed nets. For those returning, it will be a chance to hone your skills and to further develop your knowledge of the game. As in years before, both the 8U and 10U programs will be organized into boys and girls divisions and will continue playing twice a week at various locations throughout the city, including the new artificial turf on the UNB campus.
The season is due to get underway with the first team event scheduled for Monday, June 2nd for the 8U and 10U boys and Tuesday, June 3rd for the 8U and 10U girls. If you would like to contribute in any way, please feel free to contact the FDSA office at 451-1342 or e-mail us at fdsa@nb.aibn.com.

For coaches and volunteers, please note the following important dates:
1. Orientation Session for all NEW FDSA Volunteers: Thursday, May 22nd from 6:00pm - 7:30pm at Fredericton Inn.
2. Mini-Specific Volunteer Meeting: Tuesday, May 27th from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at Fredericton Inn (team lists, equipment bags and uniforms will be available at that time).
3. Mini ON-FIELD Volunteer Practical Training Session: Saturday, May 31st from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at Fredericton High School (gym side).
PIZZA HUT MINI SKILLS AND DRILLS & PICTURE DAY
(Please note change in date - originally scheduled for June 7th)
As in previous years, we will be holding a Skills & Drills and Picture Day for all mini soccer players in the 8U and 10U divisions. This year, we will hold the sessions at FHS on Saturday, June 21st (rain date will be Sunday, June 22nd @ Fredericton High School). These sessions provide all players with an opportunity to handle the ball and become more familiar with the skills necessary to play soccer. All skills and drills this season will be conducted by our Coaches with assistance from the Premiership players in an age-appropriate manner, continuing to emphasize fun and enjoyment of the game. Harvey Studios will be on site to take team and individual pictures of the children.
PARENTS VS PLAYERS NIGHT
During your last evening of scheduled play, there will be a Parents vs Players game. This has always been thoroughly enjoyed so we encourage the parents to start training!!!!
PIZZA HUT SEASON END JAMBOREE
Conducted to mark the end of the season, distribute medallions, and say good-bye, this one-day soccer activity has come to be a staple of the program. This year the jamboree will be held on Saturday, August 16th with rain delay dates for the following week.
